She is a former Miss Capital Pride and is an active trans activist/advocate. Kimmy uses her platform to entertain, educate and to showcase how you can easily be both fierce AND sober. As a member of the Haus of Couture, she is known for her performing ability and her style. Aamir Subhan, RSW, MSW, BSW, H BSc (Queer-Focused Social Worker/Psychotherapist ) Grounded in a commitment to apply decolonizing, anti-oppressive, anti-racist and harm reduction frameworks, Aamir is committed to exploring how we can collectively work towards applying a critical perspective on mental wellness and the provision of health care, which centres on social determinants of health and the lived experiences of our community peers. His practice focuses on serving racialized peoples, newcomers and refugees, people who use drugs, people living with HIV, and people facing palliative diagnoses. His approach to psychotherapy is trauma-informed and includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy. . Aamir currently holds positions with an integrated sexual and mental health agency serving guys into guys, trans and non-binary folks, a local emergency department, a queer-focused counselling and psychotherapy practice.
